Dragones, robots y handmaids encabezan los nominados a la 70ª edición de los Premios Emmys.
Las nominaciones a lo mejor de la televisión, los Premios Emmys, fueron anunciados hoy por Samiraa Wiley (The Handmaid’s Tale) y Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist). “Game of Thrones” encabezó la lista con 22 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Serie Dramática, seguida de la ganadora el año pasado “The Handmaid’s Tale” que recibió 20 nominaciones, mientras que Westworld de HBO obtuvo 21.
En el lado de la comedia, la serie “Atlanta” de FX, obtuvo 16 nominaciones y será acompañada de las debutantes “Barry” de HBO y “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” de Amazon. En el renglón de Mejor Serie Limitada o Película para TV, la serie de antología “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” se alzó con la mayor cantidad de nominaciones, 18 en total.
La plataforma de streaming Netflix logro 112 nominaciones, sobrepasando por primera vez al servicio de cable HBO que solo obtuvo 108.
No se pierdan el 17 de septiembre la ceremonia No. 70 de los premios Emmy, conducidos por los comediantes de “Saturday Night Live” Colin Jost y Michael Che.
